Hair care tips for torn-black hair, anyone?

I have a natural black hair that is starting to turn really, really red. It doesn't look like it's dry, on the contrary it turns greasy very easily. I want it to be black-coloured again, is there any hair products/herbs that can help? Note that my scalp is a bit sensitive and can't take just any hair product, otherwise it starts to itch. Thanks!
Torn just means the colour starts to fade.
You can mix some temporary black-dye into your conditioner and it'll keep the color richer. I say temporary because they generally aren't as damaging and don't need to stay on as long (since it'll wash out next time, but also be reapplied next time).
You'll essentially have a home-made version of those "Brilliant Brunette" or "Sheer Blond" shampoos for black hair.
