African hairstyle

Before I had my hair locked I asked my mum to use an African technique to straighten the hair and make it softer. She used to do this for me when I was a child and it was very effective.
The hair is parted and then a thread is twisted around it. After a week or two you remove the thread and the hair is as soft as baby hair no need for chemicals that damage you hair and it is also a fun and unique hairstyle if you live in the west like I do.
I will soon post some vids of my locked hair.
